Day One

Arrival at Entebbe

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport,  for meet and greet by the company representative who then transfers you to The Windsor Lake Victoria hotel in Entebbe for check inn. Time allowing, visit the famous botanical gardens. The Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel is a four star colonial Hotel with 99 rooms, beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. Overnight, Lake Victoria Hotel / The Boma / Gately Inn / Golf View Hotel

Day Two

Entebbe – Ngamba Chimpanzee Viewing

This day, your driver guide will transfer you to the pier by the banks of Lake Victoria where you get on a speed boat for a cruise on Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee sanctuary. Here you will come close to the several chimpanzees. You will be guided around and allowed to watch the supplemented feeding. Refer to the attached Fact sheet ore information. You then be transferred back for overnight at Lake Victoria Hotel / The Boma / Gately Inn /Golf View Hotel

Day Three

Murchison Falls National Park

Drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi and Biso. The drive is a bout 7 hours with a lunch stop over en route. From Biso drop down the escarpment of the Great African Rift Valley with spectacular view of Lake Albert. Drive along the valley floor to the southern banks of the Victoria Nile River. Located on the banks of the Victoria Nile is Nile Safari Camp. The Camp has tented rooms with each room overlooking the River. Each room has a deck at the front on which to relax plus en suite shower and toilet at the rear. The bar and Restaurant also overlook the river with beautiful view of the Sun setting over the river. Day Four

Murchison Falls National Park

Drive to Paraa and take a ferry across the Nile to game drive in the Northern sector of the park. Game in this National Park is concentrated in the northern section of Victoria Nile and East of the Albert Nile and Lake Albert. It’s in this part of the Park that “The African Queen” movie was filmed. Game often seen include Elephant, waterbuck, Buffalo, Jackal, Genet, Mongoose, oribi, bushbuck, warthog, topi, hartebeest, hyena, giraffe, sitatunga, bush pig, leopard, lion and bat eared fox. Primates here include, Baboons, Velvet monkeys Pitas monkeys. Overnight Nile Safari Lodge / Paraa Safari Lodge / Sambiya River Lodge / Red Chilli Camp

Day Five

Murchison Falls National Park

Drive to Paraa to take a launch/boat trip on the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. The launch trip takes a bout three hours. The launch boat introduces you to aquatic birds including a chance of seeing the Shoebill stock and viewing game plus other birds en route. Also in abundance are Nile crocodile and Hippopotamus. Drive to the top of the falls for lunch and nature walk in the area to obtain an excellent view of the falls where the Nile is forced through a 20-foot wide gap in the rocks and drops 145 feet over an escarpment. This scenery is said to be the largest natural force of water in the world creating what appears to be a boiling caldron of water. Day Six

Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale Forest

Drive to Kibale National Park area. The drive is a full day of approximately eight hours. The drive takes you through beautiful agricultural countryside where various fruit and vegetables are grown. On reaching Kyenjojo, in the lower foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, the drive now goes through beautiful tea plantations and into Kibale tropical rain forest area to Ndali Lodge. The beautiful Lodge is situated on high saddle between two crater lakes. The breathtaking view and cooler climate at Ndali Lodge are some of its best features Ndali Lodge was built by the late Captain Mark Price, a British tea farmer and is today managed as a working farm by his family. The rooms are decorated in local craft material, with mosquito nets. The en suite baths have hot and cold running water and flush toilets. There is no Electricity at this lodge but apple candle and oil lamps are provided in the evening. Day Seven

Kibale National Park

Today, drive to Kibale Park activity starting point. The morning is characterized with birds and primate viewing including Chimpanzee. Walking is not difficulty as paths have been made in the forest and all walks are in company of excellent local guides. You are allowed a maximum of one hour of viewing with these great creatures after encountering them Lunch will be at a local guide of Kibale which is prepared by the local women’s group with a view to promote culture. Afternoon we take a walk to visit and interact with the local community. Overnight Ndali lodge / Primate Lodge / Chimp Nest guest House

Day Eight

Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive takes us through Fort Portal and then South along the Eastern length of The Rwenzori Mountains with the hope of seeing the glaciated peaks of the Rwenzori. Here we gently descend into the great African rift valley onto Queen Elizabeth National Park. Mweya Safari Lodge is situated on a peninsula overlooking the Kazinga channel and Lake Edward offering a good view of the Park and the Rwenzori Mountains in the background. The recently renovated lodge offers high standard with excellent rooms, bar area, restaurant and en suite facilities. Afternoon at leisure. Day Nine

Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning game drives in search of the big five and other game. Game normally seen in this National Park include among others, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, hyena, Buffalo, Giant forest hog, Bush pigs, warthogs, Uganda Kob, water buck, bush buck. In the afternoon, take a launch cruise of about two hours on Kazinga channel for bird viewing (Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best birding parks in Africa with “560” + recorded bird species and recorded “296” bird species seen in a 24 hour period). We may also watch game including the hippopotamus, Elephants, etc. The Channel is believed to have the largest concentration of world’s hippopotamus. Day Ten

Queen Elizabeth National Park – Ishasha section

This day we check out and drive to Maramagambo forest for a nature walk, visiting bat caves where one can see thousands of bats and possibly pythons and monitor lizards catching bats. We shall have lunch at Jacana Lodge within the same locality then drive to Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth National park. The section is well known for tree climbing lions, and also has Tops which are not found in the other sections of this park. The Albert flats offer a nice feature and the area is known for thousands of elephants too. Overnight Wilderness Camp / Ishasha Ntungwe River Camp / Ishasha Park Bandas

Day Eleven

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Bwindi National Park

Take an early morning game drive in search of tree climbing Lions and other game, if you are lucky, you may also encounter a python during its hunt. After lunch, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It’s an enjoyable drive through the villages to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Homestead, Gorilla Resort Lodge / Kitandara Camp

Day Twelve

Gorilla Trekking

After an early morning breakfast, your driver will help organize your packed lunch boxes and water and drive you to the park offices. Here you receive a briefing on the dos and don'ts from the head ranger guide. Your driver guide will help arrange for porterage services. Ready for a long day trekking, we then enter the gorilla sanctuary. Gorilla trekking takes between less than an hour to 7 hours before encounter depending on the terrain. You are then allowed one hour with the gorillas before trekking back to your accommodation.

Gorilla trekking may take a long time before encountering the apes, be prepared to encounter muddy conditions sometimes with rain overhead, so come with raincoat, sturdy hiking boots, poncho, gloves, Long pants….Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Homestead, Gorilla Resort Lodge / Kitandara Camp

Day Thirteen

Optional activities - Bwindi Impenetrable

This day you are at option to either take a second Gorilla Trek or relax at the lodge marveling at natures wonder right in the middle of a tropical forest or take a village/cultural walk visiting the local community or go for a guided nature walk in the forest. Overnight Gorilla Forest Camp / Buhoma Homestead, Gorilla Resort Lodge / Kitandara Camp

Day Fourteen

Bwindi – Lake Mburo

Check out and drive to Lake Mburo national park through Kigezi highlands basically known as the Switzerland of Africa. The scenery is wonderful as you drive through the rolling hills of Kigezi and the local markets along the roadsides. The Ankole cattle with spectacular long whitish horns are a no miss sight as you drive to the park. Enter with a game drive. Game in this park include among others, the Eland, Zebra, and Impala not found in other National parks you have visited so far. Overnight, Mihingo Lodge.

Day Fifteen

Lake Mburo

You will be taken for an early game drive coming back for Breakfast and lunch then take either a boat cruise on Lake Mburo (from which the park gets her name) or take a nature guided walk. Overnight, Mihingo Lodge

Day Sixteen

Lake Mburo – Kampala/Entebbe

Check out and drive back to Entebbe /Kampala with stop over at the Equator line and Mpambire drum and musical instruments shops time allowing visit Kasubi tombs a cultural site treasured by the Baganda dialect as a burial site for their kings Lunch in Kampla then visit the local market or antiquate & boutique shops with the guidance of your not only experienced but also knowledgeable driver guide.
