PWS: Lake Mburo National Park - 2 days ( 1 Night)

With an area of 370 square kilometers, Lake Mburo National Park is the only Uganda National Park that contains an entire Lake. The park is characterized with a varied landscape of open savanna and acacia woodland, rock kopjes, seasonal and permanent swamps, forest and open water. The Park is a home to a number of wild game. These include among others; Burchell’s Zebra, Eland, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Impala. The park also offers a very good spot for bird watching.   

Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park
You are met and picked by your safari driver/guide, who will then take you on a three hour drive to south west of Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park. Enter with a game drive and check in time for lunch. Afternoon go for  2 hour boat ride on Lake Mburo watching game like hippopotamus as well as birds like pelicans, heron, cormorant, fish eagle. Dinner and overnight. Mihingo Lodge/Mantana tented Camp/Rwonyo Rest Camp.

Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park

This day we go for an early morning game drive to once more game view with hope of encountering leopard and hynas as they search for their pray or take a nature walk . We come back to the Lodge for breakfast and then relax until we have our lunch then check out for Kampala/Entebbe. En route visit the Mpambire drum shops and craft shops in Kampala
