Itineraries
Day One
Kampala - Kibale Forest
After breakfast, you are picked up by your safari driver/guide who will drive to Kibale National Park. We will take with us packed lunches which will be enjoyed enroute. The trip takes us through a variety of habitats that include forests, savannah, papyrus swamps, and vegetable gardens, that all result in beautiful sceneries. Overnight: Ndali Lodge / Primate Lodge / Chimp Nest.
Day Two
Kibale Forest
After break fast, proceed for Chimpanzee walk / habituation experience. The exciting activity begins in the morning and may take a whole day or a few hours. Briefing is done by the local park guide. Besides close cousins, the chimpanzees, there are other primates likely to be encountered. These include: red colobus, L’hoesti, black-and-white colobus, red tailed monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey and other primate species. The swamp walk at Bigodi wetland is an optional activity in the afternoon. Overnight: Ndali Lodge / Primate Lodge / Chimp Nest.
Day Three
Kibale Forest - Kampala
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kampala with lunch enroute. If time permits you may have a brief Kampala sightseeing and visit to craft shops at the National theatre and / Anderata Antiquities shop.
End of Safari.
